Recipe Philtre d'amour (Love Potion)

1. Place the rose petals, white sugar and water in a saucepan.
2. Bring to the boil for 10 minutes, then leave to infuse for 10 minutes over a low heat. Leave to cool.
3. Rinse the strawberries and cut into 4. Sprinkle with the caster sugar and mix.
4. Leave to macerate at room temperature for 1/4 hour.
5. In a Le Parfait Super 1L jar, mix 265 ml rose syrup with the infused petals and the macerated strawberries with sugar.
6. Add 3 or 4 tablespoons of the strawberry juice, then top up with the 40° Rhum Blanc Agricole to the top of the jar.
7. Store in a cool, dry place away from light and wait 6 months to 1 year before using.
