Carrot jam Recipe

- Peel and cut the carrots into thin slices.
- Put them in a cooking container with ½ liter of water and bring to a boil. Stir occasionally until there is no more water. Carrots should be soft.
- Add sugar, cinnamon stick and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, stirring for about 15 minutes. Do the cold plate test: a little jam on a cold plate that one leans must flow gently.
- Skim and remove the cinnamon stick and proceed immediately to put into jam jars. Close and put the jam jars upside down 1 min, and then turn them back over to let them cool.
Do not forget to stick a jam label on each of the jam jars!
