Ingredients

Number of persons: 4-6
  • 10 apples
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Recommended products

We recommend: Terrines Le Parfait Super > Terrine - 350g (Diameter : 85)

Preparation

  • Wash and peel the apples. Remove the core and seeds, then cut the apples into pieces. For a smooth, low-acid applesauce recipe, it's best to use the Rainette, Canada or Boskoop varieties.
  • Place the apple pieces in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add the brown sugar, lemon and cinnamon. While your apple dessert is cooking, stir and purée the mixture.
  • When your homemade applesauce is ready, fill your Le Parfait Super jars and proceed immediately to the heat treatment, 40 minutes at 100°C.
