As the elders said, "macerating in brandy, it will hold for life". Keeping cherries in alcohol provides you with product conservation for several years. But we bet that you will finish the jar long before!

Cherry

Sugar

300 g

Waterfall (fruit)

1 L

Steps

Picking the cherries with their tail then washing them with cold water and drying them in a cloth.
Cut the cherry tails at about 1–2 cm and then store them in the jars without tamping them.
Cover with liters of brandy, add the sugar, close and reserve sheltered from light for 6 months.
Open the jar, taste and add sugar if necessary. Redo the water level. Wait 6 months again.
Alcohol conservation provides you with product preservation of several years.

Life cherries are preserved for years.

J’ai essayé mais après 2 jours j’observe un film blanc en surface et l’eau est devenues trouble. Est-ce un dévelopement bactérien ? Que faire ?
