Recipe Banana Rhubarb Compote

Ingredients

Number of persons: Several
  • 7 pieces of fresh rhubarb
  • 4 bananas
  • 100 g caster sugar

Preparation

  1. Wash and peel the rhubarb. Peel the bananas.
  2. Cut the rhubarb and bananas into small pieces.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan with sugar and stir over medium heat until cooked and soft (some prefer with a lot of pieces, others don’t).
  4. Ladle into the Le Parfait Jars up to 2 cm from the rim and proceed immediately to the heat treatment, 40 minutes at 100°C.
  5. Allow to cool then store in a cool dry place. Don’t forget to make labels with the contents and date!

Recommended for babies of 12 months of age and older
