- Wash and peel the apples. Remove the core and seeds, then cut the apples into pieces. For a smooth, low-acid applesauce recipe, it's best to use the Rainette, Canada or Boskoop varieties.
- Place the apple pieces in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the brown sugar, lemon and cinnamon. While your apple dessert is cooking, stir and purée the mixture.
- When your homemade applesauce is ready, fill your Le Parfait Super jars and proceed immediately to the heat treatment, 40 minutes at 100°C.
