Recipe Canned Vichy carrots

Do you love carrots but are tired of the traditional grated carrots or carrot purées? Make a change! Here's a new recipe for preserves that goes hand in hand with new carrots.

Ingredients

Number of persons: Several
  • 1 kg carrots
  • 10 g salt
  • 120 g butter
  • 40 g sugar

We recommend: Terrines Le Parfait Super > Terrine - 350 g (Diameter : 85)

Preparation

  • Cut the washed and peeled carrots into thin slices.
  • Cook the carrots over a low heat for 10 minutes in salted water with butter, salt and sugar.
  • Pour the mixture into the Le Parfait Super jars up to 2 cm from the rim.
  • Close and immediately heat process your canned Vichy carrots for 1 hour 15 minutes at 100°C.
