- Wash, de-seed and peel the tomatoes. Cut into chunks.
- Brown the red or white chopped onions in a drop of olive oil in a frying pan, add the crushed garlic, tomatoes, herbs, basil leaves, spices, sugar. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer gently for about 30 minutes.
- Mix in a blender
- Begin filling your Le Parfait Super Jars with the tomato and basil sauce, leaving a gap of 2 cm from the brim. Seal tightly and proceed immediately to the heat treatment for 45 minutes at 100°C.
