- Cut the fresh figs into 4.
- Cut the grapes in 2.
- Split the vanilla pods in 2.
- Fill the jars with the figs, grapes, vanilla pods and rum.
- Add the cane syrup, adjusting the quantity to taste.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from light and allow to stand for 4 months before using.
