Recipe Arranged rum with figs, raisins and vanilla

Rum preserves fruit! Home-made, brown or white, you can choose the rum you prefer for this recipe. This unusual recipe with figs, raisins and vanilla has a hint of autumn. Be careful, as 1 litre of rum has a minimum alcohol content of 40 degrees, so be sure to use it in moderation.

Ingredients

  • 1 L rum
  • 12 fresh figs
  • White grapes
  • 2 vanilla pods
  • Cane syrup

Preparation

  • Cut the fresh figs into 4.
  • Cut the grapes in 2.
  • Split the vanilla pods in 2.
  • Fill the jars with the figs, grapes, vanilla pods and rum.
  • Add the cane syrup, adjusting the quantity to taste.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from light and allow to stand for 4 months before using.
