Plum, apricot, peach and red onion chutney Recipe

This easy and original chutney recipe ideally combines summer stone fruits. Mixed with red onions, they make the perfect life-changing sweet and sour relish for your hot and cold meats.

Plum, apricot, peach and red onion chutney

Ingredients list

10 cl wine vinegar

1 clove

1 stick cinnamon

2 pinches grated nutmeg

1 bay leaf

200 g plums

200 g apricots

200 g yellow peaches

200g red onions sliced into rings

100g red port

125g granulated sugar

Salt, black pepper

  1. Simmer the vinegar for 5 minutes with the clove, cinnamon, nutmeg and bay leaf.
  2. Pour the cubed fruit, onions, port, sugar and filtered vinegar into a large pan. Stir and gently bring to the boil.
  3. Cover and cook for 30 minutes over low heat to form a thick chutney.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and pour the preparation into your Le Parfait Super jars and immediately proceed with heat treatment for 30 minutes at 100°C.
