- Peel the pears and chop into chunks. Peel and finely chop the onions.
- Cook all the ingredients together over a gentle heat for an hour, stirring regularly. The chutney should be thick and syrupy.
- Pour the chutney into the jars, to 2 cm below the brim, seal tightly and proceed immediately to the heat treatment, 60 minutes at 100°C.
Good to know: Delicious with Foie Gras or meat.
