Recipe Pear chutney with grapes

Made with two seasonal fruits, this chutney blends textures perfectly. The softness of the pears and the firmness of the grapes combine wonderfully to satisfy your delicate palate. Good conservation and good tasting.

Ingredients

Number of persons: 4 servings
  • 250 g of pears
  • 150 g of small onions
  • 50 g of currants
  • 100 g of brown sugar
  • 12 cl of cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of powdered ginger
  • Juice of a lemon
  • 1 pinch of chili powder

Preparation

  • Peel and cut the pears into pieces. peel and finely slice the onions.
  • Cook all the ingredients over low heat for 1 hour, stirring regularly. The mixture should be thick and syrupy.
  • Immediately fill your Le Parfait jars to within 2 cm of the rim and proceed immediately to the heat treatment for 60 minutes at 100°C.


Serve with foie gras or meat.
