Recipe Orange tea jelly

This jelly without gelling agents, with tea but not to drink, will make you lose your head, but only reassure you with its great taste! With its great orange flavour, you'll love it.

Ingredients

  • Orange tea
  • Oranges to make 40 cl
  • 1 kg jelly sugar

Preparation

  • Leave the tea to infuse in 80 cl of boiling water for 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, squeeze the oranges to obtain 40 cl and cut off some of the zest.
  • Blanch the zests for 5 minutes in boiling water, remove and drain.
  • Pour the tea, orange juice, zest and sugar into a jam pan and stir.
  • Bring to the boil. Start to cook for 7 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Check that the jam is cooked by pouring a few drops onto a cold plate and then tilting the plate. The jam should run gently.
  • Skim the contents of the jars, close them and turn them upside down.
