Recipe Banana and apple compote

Ingredients

Number of persons: 7 to 8 Le Parfait super terrine 125
  • 8 apples
  • 4 bananas
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 50 g of caster sugar

Preparation

  1. Clean the jars and lids with hot soapy water. Avoid any contact between the jars. Do not use metal or abrasive sponges. After cleaning, thoroughly rinse the jars and lids with hot water and let air dry.
  2. Wash and peel the apples. Peel bananas.
  3. Cut fruit into pieces and cook with caster sugar, vanilla sugar and 3 tablespoons of water.
  4. During the cooking, mix and reduce the whole to a purée.
  5. When the compote is cooked, fill the Le Parfait Super 125 terrines and proceed immediately to heat treatment, 1 hour at 100°C.
