Here is 5 ideas for homemade, delicious gifts that are simple to make and are sure to please, without breaking the bank. 

 

1 – The Sos Cookies Kit: for the less cooky among us  

It’s THE easy gift that always has a great effect: a pretty “SOS Cookies” kit in which all you have to do is add an egg and butter. Presented in a jar Color Screw, it can then be reused to store cookies... if there are any left! 

To make this kit, you need: 

  • 1 jar Color Screw 1 L 

  • 150 g of flour 

  • 1 tbsp. teaspoon of baking powder 

  • 1 tbsp. teaspoon of salt 

  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar 

  • 85 g of sugar 

  • 50 g of chocolate chips 

To add during preparation: 

  • 1 egg 

  • 85g butter

2 – The jam orange: for tasty breakfasts!  

Offering homemade jam means offering a little happiness every morning. 
Whether you choose a classic version or add a touch of spices like cinnamon (perfect for prolonging the magic of Christmas), your loved ones will enjoy it!

3 – Soup of Pumpkin and lemongrass : a little warmth heart of winter

What's more comforting than homemade soup when it's cold?

5 – Clementines with brandy  

  

A deliciously retro and terribly elegant gift! 
Brandy clementines require a little patience, but the result is well worth it. Still consume in moderation! 

  • Active preparation: 45 minutes 

  • Maceration: minimum 2 months (ideally 3 to 6 months) 

 

🧺 Ingredients: 

  • 10 to 12 untreated clementines (small to medium) 

  • 400 g of sugar 

  • 400 ml ofwater 

  • 1 vanilla pod split (or 1 star anise for a spicier version) 

  • 1 cinnamon stick (optional, but very festive 🎄) 

  • Approximately 700 to 800 ml of white brandy (or fine, marc, or vodka at 40–45°) 

 

👩 Step by step preparation: 

  1. Prepare the fruit: 

  1. Wash the clementines carefully and dry them. 

  1. Prick them 3 to 4 times with a fine needle so that the syrup penetrates well. 

  1. If they are large, you can peel them raw for a more refined finish. 

 

  1. Prepare the syrup: 

  1. In a large saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil. 

  1. Add the split vanilla pod and cinnamon. 

  1. Leave to simmer for 5 minutes, then add the clementines. 

  1. Leash poach over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes until they become slightly translucent. 

  1. Leave to cool completely in the syrup. 

 

  1. Put in jars: 

  1. Gently arrange the clementines in the sterilized jars. 

  1. Pour the syrup until the fruit is two-thirds covered. 

  1. Complete with brandy until the clementines are perfectly covered. 

  1. Closes airtight. 

 

  1. Maceration: 

  1. Store the jars in a cool, dry place away from light. 

  1. Let it rest at least 2 months before tasting. 

  1. Gently shake the jars every 2 to 3 weeks to mix well.
