Recipe Momified Shortbread

  • 1 egg
  • 50gr butter
  • 50gr sugar
  • 150gr flour
  • 50gr almond powder
  • a little cocoa powder (to color your leftover dough and make the eyes of your mummies)

For the icing:

  • 50gr powdered sugar
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons water

1.Mix the egg, flour, almond powder, butter and sugar until a dough forms.
2.Leave to rest for 1 hour in the fridge
3.Cut out your mummies from the dough using a man-shaped cookie cutter
4.Keep some of the dough and add the cocoa powder to shape the eyes of your shortbread.
5.Bake for 12min at 180°C
6.To bandage your mummies, mix powdered sugar and water until smooth.
7.Use a fork to make your strips. Your mummies are ready!
