- Cut the fresh figs into quarters.
- Cut the grapes in half.
- Split the vanilla pods in half.
- Fill the jars with figs, grapes, vanilla pods, then add the rum.
- Add sugarcane syrup to taste.
- Store in a dry, cool, dark place, and wait four months before serving.
