Pumpkin Purée Recipe

200 g pumpkin

1 medium sized carrot

Preparation

  1. Wash the vegetables.
  2. Cook the vegetables in the micro-waves, 15 minutes at 750 watts. Purée them with a hand masher or in a blender to achieve a silky smooth texture. Add a tablespoon of water if it looks too thick.
  3. Pour into the Le Parfait Jars up to 2 cm from the rim and proceed immediately to the heat treatment, 45 minutes at 100°C.
  4. Allow to cool then store in a cool dry place.

Tip: Before serving, heat the pumpkin purée, add a knob of butter and/or a teaspoon of sugar and/or a touch of milk!

Be sure to check the temperature by sampling with a spoon before giving it to your baby!

You can store these jars in your cupboard for several months. Don’t forget to make labels with the contents and date!

Recommended for babies of 12 months of age and older
