Ingredients

Number of persons: Several people
  • 1 kg green beans
  • Salt water (20g of salt per litre of water)

Recommended products

We recommend: Jars Le Parfait Super > Jar - 1l (Diameter : 85)

Preparation

  1. Use fresh green beans which are unmarked or spoiled.
  2. Remove the tops and ends of the pods and blanch in boiling water for 5 minutes then cool under cold running water.  This process of blanching and cooling should be done quickly and completely to avoid the beans going bitter after heat preservation.
  3. Drain the beans and place them vertically into Le Parfait jars.
  4. Fill with water and salt mixture until there is about a 2cm gap at the top of the jars.
  5. Close and immediately begin the heat treatment for 1 hour 30 minutes at 100˚C.

Mes conserves 2022 et 2023 sont ratées depuis que j’utilise les caoutchouc à deux languettes. Alors que les bocaux réalisés avec une caoutchouc simple sont réussis. Bizarre quand même
